Bring the Race Experience Alive with RaceJoy!
With RaceJoy, you can easily offer an interactive race day experience for your participants and spectators. RaceJoy can be used for events with defined courses or race anywhere events - or a combination of the two. Events can offer RaceJoy over expanded dates to help encourage social distancing.
RaceJoy uses the power of smart phones to provide real-time GPS tracking of the person's actual location and create real-time information and interaction with race organizers and spectators. Participants must carry their phone to take advantage of RaceJoy’s features.
Exclusively Available Through RaceJoy Certified Providers
RaceJoy is available from our Certified Providers who have undergone technology training and have reached certification status. Check to see if your traditional timer is Certified in RaceJoy or search for a provider here. They can provide you with a price quote and support your RaceJoy setup.
Note that RaceJoy Certified timers do not need to time the event and many of our providers are offering RaceJoy as a remote service throughout the country. Events using RunSignup’s registration services typically receive a discounted price.

How does RaceJoy Work?
RaceJoy is a GPS-based tracking app that follows your progress in real-time as you run your race. Both the runner and the spectator must download the app, and keep their phones with them - but with a few easy steps, you have access to a number of fun features.
LIVE PHONE TRACKING
This is not an estimator and is based on the actual position of the participant's phone - your supporters know exactly where you are. Includes NearMe alerts and handy MeetUp feature.
GPS PROGRESS ALERTS
Receive progress alerts for yourself and others as you cross milestones along the course. Typically, alerts are sent at EVERY MILE, including location, pace, elapsed time and estimated finish time.
CHEERS
Your family and friends can send motivational, pre-recorded audio cheer clips or personalized Text-to-Cheer messages to race participants leading up to, during, and after the race.
Virtual Results Submission
Using RaceJoy for a Virtual Race? Your results will be automatically submitted to the race.
